A fabulous self-guided trip to India in March 2025 

Travelling with my parents we explored Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.. Not for the faint-hearted, but what an adventure! Happy to chat our experiences through, and see below for a few (of the many!) photos I took.

Following guidance by the lovely people at Indian Block Print Company (who run similar tours - see here), we enjoyed an amazing experience. Most of the below photos are from a tour to Bagru, (near Jaipur) working with Yash from Bagru Textiles where we watched artisans carving the blocks (and yes, a few came home!) then toured the village seeing the dying, drying, washing and printing processes. We then had a go ourselves! Also, if you get chance, don't miss the Anokhi Museum of Hand Block printing too - in a gorgeous restored Haveli next to the Amber Fort in Jaipur.
